A Taste Of Treasure

What have you buried in your heart?  Is it treasure of the world?  If you are not of the world, wouldn’t that which is be as plunder taken by advancing armies?  Does it defile that which is holy?  What have you hidden in your minds and hearts?  Have you treasure from heaven that weighs not heavy?  Have you buried my words in your hearts that your burdens be not weary?  Your bodies are as the ark, for the new covenant is between us now that you have been granted the promise of a new and eternal life.

The words of my book are as the manna I sent from my heaven’s doors.  My words are as a treasure chest, filled with the wonderment of gems, and precious stones of many facets, and refined silver and gold, an abundance of which is never depleted and always refreshed.  Moths can never devour even a thread of my silk, brocade and richly woven tapestries of words, rust will never tarnish the stunning chains of pure and precious metals.  An over flowing treasure of fruit you will find there, of such there is nothing that may grow even on the earth that I have created, fruit that will never perish for it is of the spirit.  Where is your treasure found?  In worldly places where even that which appears so lovely and appetizing eventually will rot away?

My word is as the rivers, yet my river is of waters that will forever flow, clear and pure as the finest crystal, waters that are the fountain of life that just a taste is a treasure of refreshment that will quench and satisfy and yet you will desire another taste.  Fill your mouth with my words that you never hunger for the pleasures of the world.  Let your pleasures be from the well of my words and the ever lasting treasure of your hearts be replenished.  Even a morsel of my word will fill your baskets, that all may partake and be fed.

May my words dwell within you, that you be blessed and nourished.  May my spirit dwell within you that you know you have all the gifts for life.   May you know the richness of the love of Christ, and hold the true treasure of my gift that never tarnishes.  Give freely to others of this treasure you have found, and I will fill your coffers, your hearts to overflowing.  God’s Prophecy, The Daily Prophet
